Il Mi Buffet (Annandale, VA)
Unlike Chinese buffets, good Korean buffets are hard to come by. The
buffet bar at Il Mi features traditional Korean cuisines, such
as Jap Chae (Cellophane Noodles cooked with Assorted Vegetables),
Bin De Duk (Fried Flour Pancakes with Assorted Vegetables) and
Duk Bok Gi (Spicy Rice Cakes). Not into the buffet? The
delicious alternative is the Korean barbeque, where you cook your
choice of meats right at your table. Compared to other Korean
restaurants, Il Mi is a true bargain for barbeque.
Fortune Star
Buffet (Rockville, MD)
If you’re familiar with the Rockville area, this family-style
buffet restaurant will be hard to miss. Crowded with people
of all ages, Asians and non-Asians have a common goal; they come,
they see, they chow down. Serving over 100 dishes, including
Chinese, Cantonese, Italian, American, Japanese, and Vietnamese
cuisines, we dare you to make a third trip to the buffet. But
don’t fill up before you try their Pan-fried Flounder, Crab
with Ginger and Scallion and their Sushi Bar. To avoid the “I
should have hads,” try new things first and then work back
to your old favorites.
